Job summary

Copernicus Servicing SL in Madrid is seeking a junior analyst to contribute to the analysis and execution of NPL, distressed debt and real estate-backed opportunities across Spain and international markets.

You will build and maintain financial models, assist due diligence, and prepare Investment Committee materials, while applying practical AI tools to enhance productivity and maintain professional judgement.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Interest in distressed investments, NPLs, finance and real estate
• Ability to translate analysis into clear conclusions and decision‑oriented materials

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis and execution of NPL, distressed debt and real estate investments.
• Develop and maintain financial models and investment analyses.
• Support due diligence of investment opportunities and identify risks or information gaps.
• Conduct real estate and collateral valuations to support investment analysis.
• Assist in assessment of alternative recovery and exit scenarios.
• Prepare high‑quality Investment Committee and investor materials.
• Collaborate on acquisition projects across Madrid, Europe and Latin America.
• Use approved AI and automation tools to improve efficiency of recurring analytical activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes with AI and automation.
• Support evaluation of improvements introduced through AI, ensuring responsible use of tools.
