Copernicus in Madrid is seeking a Junior Analyst to support the team in the analysis and execution of NPLs, distressed debt and real estate-backed investment opportunities. You will work with senior members across Spain, Europe and Latin America.

The role requires strong financial and analytical abilities, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to develop a career in distressed investments and real estate, with increasing responsibility and exposure to AI-enabled

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline.
• Strong English and Spanish communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Support the team in analysis and execution of NPL, distressed debt and real estate investments.
• Develop and maintain financial models and investment analyses.
• Assist with due diligence by reviewing financial, loan, borrower and collateral data.
• Conduct real estate and collateral valuations.
• Prepare Investment Committee and investor materials.
• Participate in acquisition projects across Madrid, other European markets and Latin America.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve recurring analytical activities.
