IE University’s Faculty Payments, Administration & Accounting seeks a Junior Associate to ensure accurate and timely processing of faculty payments, delivering high-quality service with proper accounting and tax compliance.

The role supports daily payment operations, coordinates with Academic Planning and IT, and assists with budgeting and reconciliation in a dynamic Madrid environment at IE Tower.

Formación

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting.
• At least 1 year of experience in similar roles, ideally in academic or international environments.
• Knowledge of accounting and taxation applicable to professional services.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level valued).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 valued).
• Experience and willingness to learn and apply AI‑driven tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc) in administrative and accounting processes.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills; ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• International mindset and experience in multicultural environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the daily faculty payment process.
• Record accounting transactions (invoices, payments, transfers, etc.).
• Handle tax‑related procedures: tax residency, withholdings, compliance.
• Verify documentation required for payment processing.
• Register and update professor personal and banking data.
• Reconcile academic planning and teaching schedules.
• Provide support to professors via email, phone, and in person.
• Coordinate with Academic Planning, IT and Vice Dean of Faculty.
• Process national and international remittances and wire transfers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
• Ensure all processes comply with legal and internal regulations.
• Support budget planning and reconciliation.
