IE University in Madrid is seeking a Junior Associate for the Faculty Payments, Administration & Accounting team. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of faculty payments, record accounting transactions, handle tax procedures, and support data updates for professors.

The role demands Spanish and English fluency, strong organizational skills, and experience with ERP systems. A proactive, international mindset and ability to collaborate across offices are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor-level degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles, preferably in academic or international environments.
• Proficient in accounting and taxation practices related to professional services.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written); C1 level valued.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 valued).
• Experience and willingness to learn AI-driven tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) in admin and accounting processes.
• Strong multitasking, organizational and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.
• International mindset and experience in multicultural environments.

Responsabilidades

• Register and update professor personal and banking data.
• Reconcile academic planning and teaching schedules.

• Coordinate with Academic Planning, IT and Vice Dean of Faculty.
• Process national and international remittances and wire transfers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
• Ensure all processes comply with legal and internal regulations.
• Support budget planning and reconciliation.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Junior Associate will involve:

• Manage the daily faculty payment process.
• Record accounting transactions (invoices, payments, transfers, etc.).
• Handle tax‑related procedures: tax residency, withholdings, compliance.
