N26 is seeking an Android Engineer to build and optimize Android features for premium subscriptions, within a cross-functional team across Europe. You will own aspects of the Android stack, collaborate with Product and customers, and mentor peers. A relocation package with visa support is available for those who need it.

You will work with a diverse team, embrace latest tech updates, and drive value for millions of users with autonomy and high standards.

About the opportunity

You will work in the Grow & Engage domain . This is the heart of the customer experience ranging from the acquisition and signup to our premium membership tiers and the daily engagement of our users . You will work in teams delivering the newest and most innovative features serving our customers in the best way possible .

In this role, you will focus specifically on our Subscriptions experience, building and optimizing the Android features that drive our premium tiers and unlock value for millions of users.

Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy.

As an Android Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis.

In this role, you will:

Build and release new features to increase our premium subscriptions.

You will proactively work on improving the Android tech stack and ensure high quality standards

Participate in the N26 Android community, facilitating cross team collaboration

Work with Product, customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right products and solutions

Mentor and support other team members and also learn from them

Expand and develop your Android knowledge, skills, and technology expertise

What you need to be successful:

Skills:

Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the Android platform.

The ability to showcase your experiences with a variety of Android frameworks.

Great communication skills and familiarity with Agile development.

Deep knowledge in Kotlin, knowledge of Java

Experience in driving technical projects from beginning to end.

Full professional proficiency in English.

Good communication skills and a sense of ownership, with a systematic problem-solving approach

Proactiveness, collaboration and eagerness to learn
