Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in Accounts Payable, finance, or a related field.
• No prior ERP experience required; willingness to learn systems like Workday is essential.
• Very good level of English, both written and spoken.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, comfortable with repetitive, manual tasks.
• Eager to learn, curious, and proactive about asking questions.
• Able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process invoice intake, data entry and document filing accurately and efficiently.
• Process straightforward invoices in line with internal controls, approvals and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, open items and accounts payable activity.
• Support AP reconciliations by gathering information, identifying discrepancies and flagging outstanding items.
• Respond to routine vendor and internal queries, escalating complex issues as required.
• Support Workday implementation activities, including data validation, testing and transition to new AP processes and workflows.

A fast-growing global technology organisation operating in a highly dynamic and evolving market are looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Analyst to join their Accounts Payable team in Madrid and support day-to-day operations.

About the Role

As a Junior Accounts Payable Analyst, this is an entry-level, execution-focused role, ideal for someone at the start of their finance career who is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable taking on detail-heavy tasks. You will handle a large share of the team's operational workload: invoice entry, data checks, filing, and basic query handling, while being mentored by more experienced colleagues. This role offers strong potential for growth: as you build knowledge of AP processes and our client's systems (including their upcoming Workday implementation), you'll progressively take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities
