eDO in Barcelona (Hybrid) is seeking an experienced Java Lead Engineer to lead a high‑performing cross‑functional team focused on customer experience, making travel changes and cancellations seamless for users.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture and Data Science, own technical strategy for the Payments domain, mentor engineers, hire top talent, and drive engineering excellence in a fast‑growing travel tech environment.

• Lead a cross‑functional agile team of 7–10 software engineers and developers
• Translate functional specifications into high‑performance technical design and tasks
• Shape the technical strategy for the Payments domain
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Data Science to define strategy and ensure performance
• Mentor and onboard new joiners into a culture of high performance and growth
• Hire top talent in collaboration with recruiters
• Manage performance, set goals and balance team capacity
• Promote standards of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Foster identity, engagement and belonging within the team
• Collaborate with an agile coach to improve team dynamics
