Julius Baer in Madrid seeks an experienced IT Service Owner to safeguard the health of our enterprise application stack built on Java/Jakarta EE, JBoss, Oracle, and Angular.

You will own operational performance, coordinate major incidents, manage changes, and drive continuous service improvement across L3 support, releases, and DR in a fast‑paced, globally connected environment.

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and international teams based in Madrid and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience as IT Service Owner or similar.
• Strong Java/Jakarta EE and Oracle experience.
• Proven incident, problem, and change management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Experience in agile/international environments.

Responsibilities

• Own operational performance and continuous improvement of the app landscape.
• Coordinate major incidents, RCA, and service restoration.
• Serve as primary contact for business stakeholders on health and risks.
• Coordinate L3 support and complex technical investigations.
• Monitor apps, interfaces, jobs, and integrations daily.
• Lead deployments, changes, and production releases.
• Drive DR, security tests, and readiness reviews.
• Foster automation and best practices in operations.
