Julius Baer in Madrid seeks an IT Operations/System Engineer to ensure smooth operation of core banking applications and provide 2nd-level support. You will process incidents, coordinate with service owners, and participate in weekend deployments and release activities.

The role requires a degree in IT, 2+ years in application support, strong Linux knowledge, ITIL certification, and experience with batch scheduling tools. English communication is essential.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support.
• Strong Linux knowledge and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Java application servers and workload automation tools.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth operation of core banking applications (2nd-level support).
• Process incident tickets and coordinate with stakeholders under SLAs.
• Communicate between incident managers, service owners, and teams.
• Periodically take on-call duty (weekly 24/7 rotation).
• Administer change requests and support release activities.
• Assist with batch job scheduling and monitoring.
• Maintain operation documentation and knowledge base.
