Griffith Foods is seeking an IT Operational Support professional to provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support across Europe. You will assist employees with Windows and Microsoft 365, manage IT assets, and contribute to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of IT services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the European IT team, participation in IT projects, and user training to maximize adoption of digital tools; English and local languages are required.

Competenze

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Fluent English (C1) and Spanish and/or Catalan.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support in a business environment.

Purpose of the Role

The IT Operational Support role provides reactive and proactive 1st and 2nd level IT support to employees using a wide range of business technologies. The position is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT services, infrastructure, and end-user solutions across the business. The role also supports IT projects, drives operational excellence, and helps deliver a high-quality user experience through strong technical expertise and people-focused approach.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to employees, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Support the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, upgrade, and operation of IT hardware, software, and business applications.
• Deliver technical support for Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and related collaboration and productivity tools.
• Manage IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, audiovisual equipment, collaboration tools, and software licenses.
• Support help desk operations and ensure excellent service delivery to end users across multiple business functions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the European IT team to identify and implement technology improvements and cost-effective solutions.
• Support the execution of IT projects, change initiatives, and technology deployments.
• Deliver user training and technology awareness initiatives to help maximize adoption and effectiveness of digital tools.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance activities, technology standards, and operational procedures to minimize service disruption.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Fluent English (C1) and Spanish and/or Catalan.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end users in a business environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including user support, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with IT ticketing systems and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
