BYD Iberia is seeking an IT Operation and Maintenance Engineer to ensure stability and efficiency of our IT systems across the organization. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, supporting innovation and continuous improvement.

You will collect requirements, analyze bottlenecks, and work with EU and HQ IT teams to plan, implement, upgrade, and transform IT systems. Strong English/Spanish, analytical skills, and proactive mindset are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher; fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, ensuring effective collaboration and project execution.
• Highly structured and goal-oriented, with a focus on delivering results efficiently.
• Proactive and curious mindset, driven to explore innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
• Native or professional proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyze business and user requirements, identify bottlenecks and advise improvements for the business process system.
• Communicate with local business stakeholders on system Q&A and provide training to key users.
• Collaborate with EU IT and HQ IT teams to plan, implement, upgrade, optimize and transform IT systems.
• Develop and maintain local technical documentation and procedures; perform evaluations and new release tests.
• Understand IT system legal requirements and coordinate with the Legal Department.

Your mission

As an IT Operation and Maintenance Engineer, your mission is to ensure the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of BYD Iberia’s IT systems. You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, enabling smooth operations and supporting innovation across the organization.

What you´ll be doing

• Collect and analyze business and users' requirements, identify bottlenecks and advise improvement for the system of business process;
• Communicate with local business internal / external stakeholders on system Q&A, providing training to key users;
• Cooperating with the EU IT and HQ IT team to carry out the planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of the IT Systems
• Develop and maintain local technical documentation and procedures; perform the technical evaluations and periodic exercises and new release tests.
• Understanding of the legal requirements with IT system and communicate with the Legal Department.
