ITC Infotech is seeking an Infrastructure Field IT Engineer in Spain to provide on-site technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure reliability of hardware, software, and network systems across multiple sites. Travel between sites is required.

You will install, configure, and maintain systems, assist in onboarding, and collaborate with central IT teams to uphold service levels. Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint security is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or field support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint security.

What We Are Looking For ?

The Infrastructure Field IT Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of hardware, software, and network systems across assigned locations. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and coordination with central IT teams to uphold service levels and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, connectivity, and user access.
• Perform routine checks, patching, and updates on servers and network components.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding activities including device provisioning and access setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets, incidents, and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and site rollouts.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or field support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint security.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel between sites and work independently.
