Gurit in Girona, Spain, is seeking an IT Finance and Controlling Manager to lead finance-system implementations, optimization, and user adoption across global operations. You will translate complex accounting needs into technical solutions and drive continuous process improvements with IT and finance leadership.

You’ll collaborate with finance stakeholders, design end-to-end ERP solutions, and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards. English applications preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• 3+ years as ERP functional consultant specializing in Finance/Controlling modules.
• Minimum 2 implementations with hands-on involvement from blueprint phase through go-live and stabilization.
• Experience in major ERP platforms: SAP (FI/CO), Oracle Financials, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics (BC, F&O, AX), or similar enterprise systems.
• Track record of collaborating with finance leadership and process owners to deliver business value.

Description of the Role:

Lead the implementation, optimization, and support of finance and controlling processes in our corporate systems. You will analyze business requirements, design solutions, configure the system, and ensure successful adoption by end-users. You'll act as the vital link between finance leadership and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions while driving continuous process improvement across our global operations. This role combines deep functional finance knowledge with hands-on business systems expertise, requiring someone who can both understand complex accounting scenarios and implement them effectively in an enterprise system.

Process Excellence & Business Analysis - Drive continuous improvement of finance and controlling processes. Analyse business requirements, resolve complex functional issues, and act as the trusted IT partner for finance stakeholders.

Solution design & Implementation - Lead end-to-end Business systems implementations for finance. From requirements gathering to go-live. Design functional design specifications, configure the systems, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

Change management & transformation - Challenge existing processes, propose innovative solutions based on industry best practices, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the change lifecycle.

User enablement & support - Provide comprehensive training, create clear documentation, and ensure end-users adopt and effectively use the system.

Reporting & analytics - Partner with finance teams to develop meaningful reports, dashboards and KPIs. Bridge business intelligence requirements with technical teams to deliver actionable insights.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years as ERP functional consultant specializing in Finance/Controlling modules
