Giesecke+Devrient is seeking an Application Support Engineer (L2) to provide advanced application and operational support for production environments. You will bridge L1 support, engineering teams, and suppliers to resolve incidents and improve service quality.

The role emphasizes end-to-end incident ownership, maintaining SLA/KPI compliance, and enabling L1 teams through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Education in Telecommunications, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Application Support / Production environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage incidents and service requests end-to-end.
• Act as Incident Manager when required and prioritize SLAs.
• Escalate to L3 when needed and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate with customers and manage escalations effectively.
• Document issues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
