ING BANK NV SUCURSAL EN ESPAÑA is offering a Global Investment Center Intern position in Madrid. The role supports the Investment Strategy Team by preparing macroeconomic reports and maintaining data sources, with a focus on producing content for clients.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in economics or business, has strong analytical and presentation skills, and fluency in English. Availability of at least 6 months and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup are required.

At ING we are looking for a Global Investment Center Intern

Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Intern to join our Investment Strategy Team of Investment and Funds Entrusted Tribe. The responsibility of this team is producing and disseminating economic intelligence both inside and outside the bank. You will help us lay the foundations for a macro/investment office function. You will also help the team create and deliver content that helps customers change their perception of the bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Assistance in the preparation of reports related to macroeconomic developments.
• Maintenance and exploitation of database (Macrobond).
• Preparation of reports and presentations on functional monitors (macroeconomics, banking, and financial markets).

What are we looking for

• Students or recent graduates with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in business or economics, no previous experience required.
• Passionate about financial markets and macroeconomics.
• A born financial news follower.
• Data-driven, with common sense and attention to detail.
• Good learning ability.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Great organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to make effective presentations: effective storytelling, excellent PowerPoint skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Previous experience of using Bloomberg would be an advantage.
• Passionate about innovation, new market trends and future thinker.
• Able to work in an autonomous way, to take initiative and to make things happen with a can-do attitude.
• Good team player, willing to collaborate with different people.
• Very good oral and written English skills, with at least level C1.
• Ability to work at an international level.
• Minimum availability of 6 months, renewable according to the university's criteria.

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo: Buscamos una persona talentosa y entusiasta para incorporarse en prácticas a nuestro equipo de Investment Strategy, dentro de la Investment and Funds Entrusted Tribe. La responsabilidad de este equipo es generar y difundir inteligencia económica tanto dentro como fuera del banco. Contribuirás a sentar las bases de una función de oficina macroeconómica y de inversiones. Además, colaborarás en la creación y difusión de contenidos que ayuden a las personas clientes a transformar la percepción del banco.

Tus principales responsabilidades

• Apoyar en la elaboración de informes relacionados con la evolución macroeconómica.
• Mantener y explotar bases de datos (Macrobond).
• Preparar informes y presentaciones sobre indicadores funcionales (macroeconomía, banca y mercados financieros).

¿Qué buscamos?

• Estudiantes o personas recién graduadas de grado o máster en Administración y Dirección de Empresas, Economía o disciplinas afines. No se requiere experiencia previa.
• Interés y entusiasmo por los mercados financieros y la macroeconomía.
• Seguimiento habitual de la actualidad económica y financiera.
• Orientación a los datos, sentido común y atención al detalle.
• Capacidad de aprendizaje.
• Sólidas habilidades analíticas.
• Excelentes capacidades de organización y comunicación oral y escrita.
• Capacidad para realizar presentaciones eficaces, con buenas habilidades de storytelling y dominio de PowerPoint.
• Buen nivel de Excel.
• Se valorará experiencia previa con Bloomberg.
• Interés por la innovación, las nuevas tendencias de mercado y visión de futuro.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma, tomar la iniciativa y transformar las ideas en acciones.
• Buena disposición para el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración con diferentes personas.
• Nivel alto de inglés, oral y escrito, mínimo C1.
• Capacidad para desenvolverse en entornos internacionales.
• Disponibilidad mínima de 6 meses, renovable según los criterios de la universidad.
