Job summary

Airbus Operations in Getafe seeks a Competence and Training Manager to identify training needs, organize sessions, and manage the Training Center. The role focuses on ensuring trainer availability, tracking competencies, and driving improvements in workplace well-being and absenteeism.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, experience in competence management in an aerospace environment, excellent communication, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in competence management, preferably in a large industrial or aerospace environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Availability for an interim/temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs across Production staff (BC and WC).
• Support the setup of training sessions, ensuring trainee availability.
• Ensure the provision of trainers for each specific training session.
• Manage the Training Center, including room allocation, material availability, and maintenance.
• Identify and track competencies required within Operations.
• Monitor and follow up on competence management status across Operations teams.
• Identify and coordinate the necessary training actions to address competency gaps.
• Define KPIs and regularly update absenteeism analysis.
• Contribute to action plans and strategies aimed at improving workplace well-being and reducing absenteeism.
