Santander is seeking an Infrastructure Debt Advisory Analyst in Spain to build and review financial models, prepare client materials, and support live M&A and IPO processes. You will analyze energy and energy transition opportunities across EMEA, monitor market developments, and assist senior bankers with client dialogue and origination ideas.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, Structured Finance, M&A or similar transaction environment
• Strong execution experience on live transactions and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure
• Fluency in English (Required); other European languages are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Building and reviewing detailed financial models, including operating models, debt mechanics and sensitivities
• Preparing high-quality client materials such as pitch books and board materials
• Supporting live transaction execution across M&A and IPO processes with due diligence coordination
• Conducting sector and transaction analysis across EMEA energy and energy transition spaces
• Monitoring market developments, valuation trends and investor activity across key sub-sectors
• Supporting senior bankers on client dialogue, strategic analysis and origination ideas
