Actual Talent is recruiting for an IT Business Manager on behalf of a leading international pharmaceutical client headquartered in Spain. The role focuses on aligning technology with strategic business objectives, driving enterprise transformation, and ensuring high-reliability IT services.

You will oversee SAP implementations, data flows, and platform integrations while collaborating with executives and external vendors.

• Act as IT liaison for business leaders, shaping technology roadmaps and business cases.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise transformation and SAP initiatives, including vendor selection and adoption.
• Oversee data, systems and platform integrations across SAP, CRM, e-commerce and marketing.
• Ensure reliable IT operations, networks, licensing, and budget adherence.
• Implement cybersecurity standards, risk management, and continuity planning.

About the client:

Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Spain with a strong presence across Europe, is dedicated to developing and commercialising innovative, scientifically proven solutions in women’s health. On their behalf, we are searching for an IT Business Manager to align technology with core business objectives and lead enterprise transformation initiatives end-to-end.

This hybrid role blends strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring high-reliability IT services while modernising enterprise systems, data flows, and digital platforms. The role works closely with executive stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnership & Strategy: Act as the main IT link for business leaders, translating company priorities into a clear technology roadmap, strong business cases, and structured portfolio governance.

• Enterprise Transformation & SAP: Lead end-to-end change initiatives and drive process digitalisation, with full ownership of enterprise application delivery and SAP implementation (partner selection, testing, cutover, and adoption).

• Data, Systems & Platforms: Oversee data flow governance and ensure seamless integration between SAP, CRM, e-commerce, and marketing platforms, alongside corporate web environments.

• IT Operations & Vendor Management: Guarantee the daily reliability of core IT infrastructure, networks, and services while managing supplier performance, SLAs, software licensing, and IT budgets.

• Security, Risk & Continuity: Implement cybersecurity standards and data protection policies, managing incident response, backup strategies, and a pragmatic risk mitigation plan.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated track record of aligning technology with business strategy and leading cross-functional project delivery.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise software and digital transformation (SAP implementation experience is highly valued).

• Strong programme, contract, and vendor management skills, including strict budget control.

• Solid background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk management.

• Excellent stakeholder leadership and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions.

What Is Offered

• Competitive compensation package (fixed salary + performance-based bonus).

• Flexible start times Monday through Thursday (8:30–9:30).

• Remote work on Fridays with an intensive reduced workday (9:00–14:00).
