Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Spain is seeking a Construction Project Specialist to lead and support facility infrastructure projects in an industrial setting, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

In this 12-month fixed-term contract (Parental Leave Cover), you will coordinate planning, manage external contractors, and drive upgrades, renovations, and maintenance strategies while building hands-on project management experience within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience managing complex technical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Solid problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues to meet timelines and performance targets.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure full compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of projects, assets, and maintenance activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and extend asset lifespan.
• Respond to critical facility incidents, including outside regular working hours when required.
