Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Córdoba, Spain, invites applications for a Construction Project Specialist on a 12-Month FTC (Parental Leave Cover).

The role leads and supports facility infrastructure projects in an industrial setting, coordinating with stakeholders and partners to upgrade, renovate and maintain assets. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years of PM experience in industrial environments, and strong knowledge of safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety and budget compliance.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues to meet timelines and performance targets.
• Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of projects, assets, and maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and extend asset lifespan.
• Respond to critical facility incidents, including after hours when required.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy in Spain as a Construction Project Specialist- 12-Month FTC (Parental Leave Cover). In this role, you will lead and support the execution of facility infrastructure projects in an industrial environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects within an industrial environment, ensuring facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will contribute to upgrades, renovations, and maintenance strategies, gaining hands-on experience in complex facility projects while developing your technical and project management skills in a collaborative and dynamic team.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Your background
