Job summary

Hitachi Energy Spain is hiring a Construction Project Specialist for a 12-month FTC (Parental Leave Cover) to lead facility infrastructure projects in an industrial environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan upgrades, renovations, and maintenance strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, at least 3 years of project management experience in manufacturing, strong safety knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues to meet timelines and performance targets.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure full compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of projects, assets, and maintenance activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and extend asset lifespan.
• Respond to critical facility incidents, including outside regular working hours when required.
