Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Independent Consultancy — Technical Planning and Coordination based in Spain. You will lead a 12‑month foundational planning phase, coordinating technical experts, data leaders and stakeholders to establish a common vision, governance, and standards for an open energy data initiative.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in data architecture, data management, or data product development.
• Experience facilitating multi‑organization technical projects.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Consortium coordination and stakeholder engagement across five partner organizations.
• Needs assessment, user research, and audience/use case definition.
• Develop and maintain an integrated workplan with milestones and risks.
• Create a centralized inventory of datasets and data assets.
• Propose shared data schemas, metadata standards, and identifiers.
• Evaluate platform architectures (hosted, federated, hybrid) and provide recommendations.
• Define data hub proof of concept scope and handover to data contractors.
• Contribute to AI-ready energy data strategies and metadata strategy.
• Co-author a technical and governance roadmap for the next phase.
