Job summary

RingCentral is seeking a senior cybersecurity incident response professional to lead critical security incidents end-to-end, coordinating across technical teams and executives to minimize impact and ensure clear, timely decisions.

You will develop incident response playbooks, drive containment, eradication and recovery in cloud and on‑prem environments, and translate findings into long‑term security improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex cybersecurity incidents with cross-functional teams.
• Strong track record in communicating incidents to senior leadership.
• Experience with cloud environments, containers, and identity systems.
• Ability to participate in on-call or major-incident escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead major security incidents with clear authority from declaration to resolution.
• Assess incident scope, attacker behavior, and technical impact.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from active threats and restore services.
• Deliver transparent reporting to executives and cross-functional partners.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
