Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an IFS Senior Technical Specialist to own critical areas of our IFS Cloud landscape and help us build a more robust, standardised and scalable technology environment.

You will work at the intersection of hands-on technical work, release governance, data migration and continuous improvement across a multinational organisation.

This is a 100% remote role, focused on IFS Cloud, MWO, PSO, data migration and ongoing optimization across our platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting IFS Cloud, MWO and PSO.
• Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud and enterprise environments, incl. environment management, configuration and integrations.
• Expert data migration methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of release and change management processes.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, REST/OData APIs and IFS Connect.
• ITIL processes focus: Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools.

IFS Senior Technical SpecialistReady to shape the future of technology at Henry Schein?At Henry Schein , technology plays a key role in how we operate, grow and serve our customers across an international organisation.We are looking for an IFS Senior Technical Specialist to take ownership of critical areas of our IFS Cloud landscape and help us build a more robust, standardised and scalable technology environment.This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of hands-on technical expertise, release management, data, integrations and continuous improvement, and who wants to have a real impact on how technology evolves across a complex, multinational organisation.If IFS Cloud, MWO, PSO, data migration and release management are your world, this could be your next challenge.What will your impact be?You will play a key role in making sure our IFS Cloud environments, data and releases are reliable, controlled and business-ready.Environment & Release ManagementYou will own and continuously improve the way we manage our IFS Cloud environments and releases:Establish and implement best practices for environment management , including refresh schedules, test data and environment usage.Maintain environment inventories, interface mappings, configuration baselines and platform documentation.Ensure alignment between Build-place and Use-place environments , enabling safe and predictable releases.Manage deployments covering IFS Cloud service updates, patches, hotfixes, configurations, reports, integrations and modifications .Establish and enforce release governance, version control and change management standards.Monitor release performance and identify opportunities to improve deployment success, release quality and change failure rates.Data, Migration & Platform GovernanceYou will help ensure that data across our IFS landscape is accurate, consistent and ready to support the business:Define and implement best practices for data migration and bulk data uploads .Lead data migration and data cleansing activities, including validation, reconciliation and testing.Maintain migration documentation, error logs, reconciliation reports and audit evidence.Drive the standardisation of platform nomenclature and coordinate data remediation activities.Define and manage Synchronization Rules, Permission Set Filters, Entity Filters and MWO Entities .Establish guidelines and processes for managing failed transactions.Develop and support PSO integrations .Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementThis role goes beyond technical execution.
