Job summary

Syntax seeks an Identity Lead to own identity security standards across the Global Security Framework, focusing on human and non-human identities, including service accounts, workloads, and AI agents. You design registries, set Entra ID and CyberArk requirements, and drive governance tooling selections with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity and access management or security engineering with production ownership.
• Hands-on with machine/workload identity and secrets management lifecycle.
• Hands-on with Entra ID including CA, PIM, identity protection, app registrations, workloads.
• Experience evaluating identity governance tooling from evaluation to implementation.
• Experience with at least two of CyberArk, SAP/Oracle identity, or identity detection & response.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML; scripting in PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own identity security standard within global security framework and posture metrics.
• Define Entra ID and CyberArk requirements across SaaS and on-premises.
• Set SAP/Oracle identity requirements including joiner/mover/leaver and segregation of duties.
• Evaluate identity governance tooling and drive recommendations and implementation.
• Produce identity evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 attestations.
• Develop registry for non-human identities and machine credentials issuance path.
