Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks a hands-on Senior Security Architect / Lead Engineer to own and elevate security across cloud database platforms (Oracle on OCI and PostgreSQL). You will define security strategy, lead a security squad, and collaborate with platform architects, operations, and governance teams in a regulated, international environment.

You will design secure end-to-end architectures, enforce Zero Trust, manage identity integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, and drive vulnerability

Qualifications

Hands-on security architect for cloud databases (Oracle & PostgreSQL).
Experience with OCI security, networking, and database infrastructure.
Leads security squads in agile/DevOps environments.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CIS Benchmarks or DORA.

Responsibilities

Design secure end-to-end architectures for Oracle (OCI) and PostgreSQL databases.
Enforce Zero Trust controls for cloud databases (private endpoints, segmentation, certificates).
Lead threat-modeling and translate risks into engineering controls.
Own identity access integration with Microsoft Entra ID (OAuth/OIDC, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management).
Establish vulnerability management and DevSecOps practices across the database platform.
Coordinate security audits and remediation actions; mentor security squad.
