Mercury is seeking an ICT Project Manager – Structured Cabling in Madrid to oversee telecommunications infrastructure cabling projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, budget control, safety and quality across sites.

Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day operations, coordinating schedules and subcontractors, engaging with clients at site meetings, and driving change management with the team to close out projects successfully.

Formación

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel freely between European countries.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and manage client expectations and specs of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including Safety and Quality.
• Manage Project Schedule.
• Control all costs including Labour, Materials, Plant, Variations and Valuations.
• Oversee subcontractor activities and staffing vs. schedule.
• Attend Site Meetings with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Close out of all project items (Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, QA File, relocations).
• All other duties associated with this role.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Fully understand and manage client expectations and specifications of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling on the Project.
• Management of all day‑to‑day site operations including Safety & Quality.
• Management of Project Schedule.
• Management of all costs associated with Project including:
• Labour
• Material and Procurement
• Plant and Equipment
• Variations
• Valuations
• Management of sub‑contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re‑locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Essential Criteria For The Role

• 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling.
• Good Computer skills – Windows, MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Essential to be able to travel freely between European countries.

Desirable Criteria

• Telecoms/ICT Industry Certification.
