Siemens in Madrid seeks a Project Manager to lead small to medium projects, acting as the primary liaison between factories and customers to ensure successful delivery from start to finish.

The role requires an engineering degree, 5 years PM experience, PM certification, and fluency in Spanish and English. Travel is required; hybrid work model offered with opportunities for continuous learning and growth.

• Degree in Electrical, Energy or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Project Management certification.
• Experience with medium and low voltage switchgears, protection and automation systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the project’s economic, time, scope alignment and customer satisfaction results.
• Analyze the technical and contractual information of the project and clarify or negotiate with customer as needed.
• Control and influence execution of the forecasted schedule across all phases from design to warranty.
• Coordinate document flow with the customer and track status.
• Perform and manage project risk analysis, non-conformance cost and changes; coordinate mitigation actions.
• Maintain constant communication with the customer and report pending issues and status.
• Arrange meetings or factory visits for design reviews, inspections, tests, shipments and commissioning.

Project Manager (Madrid, permanent contract). In this role, you will manage small to medium-sized projects, serving as the main point of contact between our factories and customers and ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the project’s economic, time, scope alignment and customer satisfaction results.
• Analyze the technical and contractual information of the project and process any required clarification or negotiation either internally or externally with the customer.
• Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted schedule in terms of design issuance, design approval, purchase of materials, production, testing, shipping, and commissioning up to the end of the warranty period.
• Coordinate the document flow to and from the customer and maintain a record about the status of the documentation.
• Perform and manage the project risks analysis, non-conformance cost and claim/changes. Coordinate mitigation or preventive actions either internally or externally with the customer.
• Keep a constant communication with the customer, reporting the pending issues and the status of the project.
• Arrange with the customer meetings or factory visits for design reviews, inspections, factory tests, shipment and commissioning coordination.

Who are we looking for?

• Degree in Electrical, Energy or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience in Project Management is required.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written/spoken).
• Project Management certification.
• Professional expertise in medium and low voltage switchgears, protection and automation systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project will be considered a plus.
• Available to travel for business trips.
• Calm, collected and collaborative; work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
• Ability to identify problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
