Baringa in Madrid is seeking an early-career consultant to support Iberia power markets, renewables and storage initiatives. You will work with market specialists, translate market insights into client advice, and contribute to investment decisions across Spain and Portugal.

The role focuses on quantitative analysis, market design, regulation, and portfolio value creation, offering exposure to leading energy companies and a path to lead client work over time.

Formación

• Experience: Up to 3 years in Iberian power markets and related fields.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Experience translating market design and regulation into client advice.

Responsabilidades

• Develop deep understanding of Spanish and Portuguese wholesale power markets and translate insights into client advice.
• Assess value of storage projects and revenue stacking.
• Support strategic engagements with IPPs, developers, utilities and investors.
• Build models of market fundamentals and asset revenues.
• Produce clear slides, reports and dashboards for clients.
• Contribute to proposals and thought leadership for Iberia.
