Prosolia Energy is seeking a Short-Term Energy Management Specialist to join our team in Madrid or Valencia. The role focuses on optimizing renewable assets, monitoring electricity markets, settlements, and PPA interactions, with a strong emphasis on analytics and market performance.

The candidate should have engineering credentials and 3+ years in energy management, with advanced English and Excel skills; Python/SQL/Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Formación

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Energy, Electrical or similar).
• 3+ years in short-term energy management, settlements, energy operations or electricity markets.
• Knowledge of electricity market operations, balancing markets, settlements and market mechanisms.
• Experience with market data, operational KPIs and energy management tools.
• Advanced English level.
• Strong analytical and operational mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Python, SQL or Power BI is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor short-term electricity markets, regulation and market variables relevant to the operation and optimization of renewable energy assets.
• Define the overall optimization strategy for our renewable generation assets and BESS.
• Manage and supervise settlements processes related to energy production, imbalance costs, deviations and market transactions.
• Lead the interaction with PPA counterparties and execute the invoicing process.
• Track market references, pool prices, ancillary services and other key market indicators.
• Analyze market behaviour, curtailment events, grid constraints and transmission limitations impacting asset performance.
• Lead the tendering process and selection of market agents.
• Support forecasting activities for production, prices and deviations.
• Prepare operational reports and market performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
