STX Group, a leading environmental commodities firm, is seeking a commercially driven Sales Trader to lead the Iberian market across Spain and Portugal. The role focuses on owning a portfolio of wholesale clients, expanding STX’s market share, and developing new business opportunities.

You will originate and execute a range of transactions—from secondary trades to structured solutions—while staying abreast of market and regulatory shifts. Madrid-based with relocation assistance available.

Formación

• Experience in environmental commodities or energy markets with a commercial focus.
• Ability to identify and create commercial opportunities and expand client relationships.
• Strong negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Take commercial ownership of a portfolio of wholesale clients across Iberia, building durable relationships with key counterparties.
• Grow sales margin by increasing STX’s share of wallet and identifying high-value opportunities.
• Originate, negotiate, and execute transactions from secondary-market trades to structured solutions.
• Stay close to market/regulatory developments and translate into actionable opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence resource for clients, adding value beyond pricing and transactions.
• Collaborate with trading, analysis, origination and sales teams to unlock opportunities.
