Job summary

Nix seeks an experienced IAM leader to build and run a new capability across a federated group. You will own the Target Operating Model, lead a dedicated project team and deliver a production IAM platform with validated evidence and conforming controls.

The role advances governance, policy and risk controls, ensuring regulatory alignment and continuous improvement across portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IAM, governance or risk with leadership exposure.
• Built IAM or control functions where none existed.
• Delivered end-to-end IGA platform implementation with management of partners.
• Led a mixed team of analysts and engineers and set priorities across governance and delivery.
• Runs the programme as its own project with no PMO support.
• Secures decisions from senior stakeholders and maintains momentum.
• Deep IAM knowledge: joiner/mover/leaver, role design and access reviews.
• Experience in complex federated or multi-entity environments with negotiated adoption.
• Comfort with large access data and translating it into findings or models.
• Regulatory and audit experience; executive stakeholder management.
• Languages: English required; Spanish and German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of IAM analysts and engineers, setting direction and priorities.
• Own delivery of the IAM platform design, scope, milestones and budget.
• Direct partners and managed services alongside internal capacity.
• Translate IAM requirements into platform configuration and make decisions when misaligned.
• Own application onboarding across the portfolio: sequencing, testing and cutover.
• Manage commercial aspects post-signature: licences and changes.
• Report progress, risks and decisions to steering committees and executives.
