Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya seeks a part-time Research Assistant for the UOC-FuturEd - Research Centre on the Futures of Education in the Digital Age, within the TechSLA Lab. The role focuses on collecting data from participants to study progress in English language learning via AI-powered interactions.

The candidate will administer tests, code oral productions, and manage data across AI tools, contributing to linguistic analysis and reporting.

Qualificações

• University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) required.
• At least 1 year of experience in similar roles.
• Solid knowledge of applied linguistics and second language acquisition.
• Ability to administer language tests and code oral production in English.
• Proficiency with office software, especially spreadsheets, and database/audio file management.
• Sufficient digital competence to work with online tools and AI platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Actively collaborate in data collection with human participants.
• Administer a battery of pre-tests and post-tests (oral and written).
• Manage and organize data from oral interactions with AI.
• Carry out linguistic coding/analysis to measure progress in English learning.
