Santander seeks a Repo Trader – Analyst in Spain, Madrid area, within Corporate & Investment Banking. The role involves executing short-term repo trades, providing market levels, and collaborating with Sales, Risk, and Middle Office teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and fluency in English and Spanish, with exposure to fixed income or securities finance and a proactive, learning mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Business Admin, Engineering, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline.
• High level of English and Spanish (Required).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Required).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills (Required).
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn (Required).

Responsabilidades

• Execute and manage short-term repo transactions across European Government Bonds.
• Provide market levels and pricing indications for Sales teams and internal stakeholders.
• Support client activity and respond to market and financing requests.
• Monitor repo rates, liquidity, and market conditions across securities and maturities.
• Contribute to management of client financing, balance-sheet and collateral usage.
• Identify relative value and funding opportunities across securities and counterparties.
