Colliers is building a Technology Hub in Madrid and seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture for a hybrid, remote & onsite environment. You will translate business needs into scalable system designs, influence technology direction, and collaborate with stakeholders across regions to deliver world‑class software solutions.

You will work on frontend in React/TypeScript and backend in .NET, shaping standards, governance, and best practices in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting.

Formación

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in software architecture or system design roles.
• Proven ability to design complex, distributed, and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, event-driven architectures, and API development (REST/GraphQL).
• Strong background in backend architectures (.NET, microservices) and frontend architectures (React, TypeScript).
• Cloud-native architectures and containerization; familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve end-to-end system architectures balancing performance, security and cost.
• Produce architectural artefacts and reference implementations to guide teams.
• Translate business needs into clear architectural designs and proofs of concept.
• Ensure architecture is modular, secure, and adaptable to future needs.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure alignment and delivery quality.
