UST is seeking a Mid Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications. The role focuses on building RESTful services, integrating distributed components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java expertise and hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle, including testing across multiple levels. Hybrid work in Madrid is offered, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience as a Java Developer working on enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem, software engineering best practices, and the full SDLC.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL development.
• Experience with enterprise messaging, queuing, or event-streaming technologies.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka is highly valued.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding asynchronous communication patterns and distributed systems integration.
• Proven experience in testing across Functional, Integration, Acceptance, and Mock-up testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful web services and distributed system components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Design, create, and execute functional, integration, acceptance, and mock-up testing.
• Analyse complex technical challenges and propose end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs.
