UST España & Latam is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications in a hybrid Madrid setting. You will integrate RESTful services, work with Eclipse IDE, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires strong Java expertise, experience with Oracle DB, messaging systems, and testing. Training on the Actico Platform is provided, with 3 days onsite in Madrid and 2 days remote.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience as a Java Developer designing, developing, maintaining enterprise Java applications.
• Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem, software engineering best practices, and the full SDLC.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL development.
• Experience with enterprise messaging, queuing, or event-streaming technologies.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka is highly valued.
• Experience with messaging platforms (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ) and distributed systems integration.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns and testing activities.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful web services and distributed components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Design, create, and execute functional, integration, acceptance, and mock-up testing.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and propose end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs.
