UST is seeking a Mid/Senior Java Backend Developer to contribute to a global wealth management project. You will collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs in an international environment, focusing on robust Java backend skills.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH) and includes training on the Actico Platform to enhance platform integration capabilities.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of the Java technology stack, software engineering best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of RESTful web service integration.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle Database and SQL development.
• Experience with Kafka is preferred, while exposure to IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ), RabbitMQ, or similar alternatives will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns, message-driven architectures, and distributed system integration.
• Designing, creating, and executing: functional testing, integration testing, acceptance testing; define test scenarios and data.
• No dedicated QA team; developers ensure quality, stability, and validation before release.
