Placements24 is partnering with a reputable firm in Queenstown, Eastern Cape to hire a Forensic Accountant. The role focuses on investigating financial discrepancies, detecting fraud, and providing expert evidence in legal proceedings.

You will analyze complex data, prepare reports, and support risk mitigation in a hybrid work setting. The ideal candidate has a strong background in forensic accounting, 5+ years of experience, and relevant qualifications (CA(SA) or CFE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
• CA(SA) or CFE certification is essential.
• 5+ years in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, or related fields.
• Strong data analysis, tracing transactions, and evidence gathering.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraud and irregularities.
• Gather and interpret complex financial data from multiple sources.
