Job summary

Colliers International EMEA is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer for our Madrid hub. The role reports to the Senior Manager Cloud Engineering and operates in a hybrid model (2 days on-site), offering freedom to innovate within one of the world's leading real estate firms.

You will build and maintain cloud-native and hybrid workloads on GCP and Azure, driving secure, scalable environments for product teams and customers while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Terraform IaC.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and Azure.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, Miro and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in a global, multi-cultural organization.
• Experience with observability tools (Sentry, Lighthouse).
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced tech environment and drive change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS preferred.
• GCP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable, secure GCP infrastructure aligned with design documents.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and IaC versioning workflows.
• Automate provisioning using Terraform with reusable modules.
• Monitor cloud performance, reliability, and cost with native tools.
• Ensure security practices including IAM, VPC, encryption and logging.
• Troubleshoot incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and high availability.
• Ensure documentation and runbooks are up to date.
