Job summary

SITA in Madrid is seeking a Privacy, Governance & Process Improvement SME within the People Team to own GDPR compliance, data retention and secure HR data management.

You will lead privacy assessments, partner with IS, Legal and Compliance, map processes end-to-end, and drive Lean-based improvements across payroll, benefits and HR operations.

This role offers varied responsibilities across data privacy, security audits and AI governance with opportunities to shape global standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in data privacy / GDPR and HR data.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, SOC2, ISO, EU AI Act and data retention.
• Experience documenting end-to-end processes and driving improvements.
• Familiar with HR systems and data governance tools.
• Lean or Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own privacy governance across HR data and systems.
• Lead SOC2/ISO compliance activities for HR apps and audits.
• Map as-is processes, design to-be workflows, and reduce waste.
• Support AI governance and compliance for HR initiatives.
• Train teams and consolidate knowledge with Global Process Owners.
• Lead cross-functional privacy projects from definition to execution.
• Collaborate with IS, Legal, and Compliance on risk and remediation.
