Instaleap is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist for our Barcelona office to own HR operations, recruitment, and day-to-day office management. You will support teams across the full employee lifecycle and ensure the office runs smoothly.

This role blends strategic initiatives with operational tasks, from attracting talent and onboarding new joiners to ensuring Spanish labor compliance and a great day-to-day work environment in a hybrid setup.

Formación

• 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally generalist
• Experience in recruitment and selection processes (job postings, interviews, coordination)
• Knowledge of Spanish labor law: contracts, Social Security, registrations and terminations
• Strong organization, proactive approach and good communication

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across profiles and teams.
• Prepare and review employment contracts, onboarding documents, and Social Security registrations.
• Coordinate and deliver onboarding for new joiners in Barcelona.
• Act as main HR contact for local employees and day-to-day queries.
• Monitor Spanish labor regulations and ensure compliance across people processes.
• Liaise with external labor advisors or legal counsel on payroll and contract matters.
• Oversee office operations: spaces, vendors, supplies and services.
• Anticipate local team needs and propose improvements to employee experience.
• Support culture, wellbeing and engagement initiatives for the Barcelona office.

Your mission

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Act as the main HR point of contact for local employees and their day-to-day queries.

• Manage the operational needs of the office: spaces, vendors, supplies, and services.

What we're looking for

• 2 to 3 years of experience in HR roles — ideally as an HR Generalist.
• Experience in recruitment and selection processes (job posting, interviews, coordination with hiring managers).
• Knowledge of Spanish labor law: employment contracts, Social Security, registrations and terminations.
• Organized, proactive, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
• Advanced English (international work environment).
