The Hoxton Poblenou in Barcelona is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor Intern to support day-to-day operations for 5-6 months starting January 2026.

Join a passionate team and receive an internship allowance of 500€ gross per month, food on shift, a free night and dinner for two at start, plus ongoing training to help you grow in guest service standards.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hospitality Management or Tourism.
• Fluency in Spanish or English.
• Interest in hospitality and guest service.
• Detail-oriented with strong standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and control the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, linen, and laundry.
• Select and monitor cleaning and maintenance products for daily use.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of the department’s inventory.
• Participate in cleaning inspections to ensure standards.
• Supervise the condition of guest rooms and ensure they are ready for arrivals.
• Maintain and promote compliance with cleaning and safety protocols.
• Assist with laundry control, lost and found, and other admin duties.
• Collaborate with other teams to keep hotel facilities in optimal condition.

We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor Intern to join our team at The Hoxton, Poblenou!

The Hoxton Poblenou in the city of Barcelona is our 11th Hoxton. The hotel boasts 240 bedrooms of different sizes, a large restaurant Four Corners with The Slice shop and La Bodega, a rooftop pool and our taqueria Tope, a bright and airy lobby, a multi-functional basement events space and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events concept).

Reporting to our Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible to support the management of our day to day housekeeping operations for 5-6 months from January 2026.

What you’ll do…

• Support in coordinating and controlling the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, linen, and laundry.
• Select and monitor cleaning and maintenance products required for daily use.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of the department’s inventory.
• Participate in cleaning inspections to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Supervise the condition of guest rooms and ensure they are properly prepared for arrivals.
• Maintain and promote compliance with cleaning and safety protocols.
• Assist in resolving issues or complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Support tasks such as laundry control, lost and found management, and other administrative duties.
• Work closely with other teams to maintain the hotel facilities in optimal condition.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.
• Participate in internal reviews and audits of hotel standards.
• Assist with periodic inventories and monitor the operational needs of the department.
