El Fuerte Marbella 5* sits on Marbella's scenic promenade, five minutes from Plaza de los Naranjos. This landmark resort blends historic charm with luxury, offering 266 rooms and sea views. We are seeking a guest-focused Hotel Receptionist in Marbella, Spain.

You will manage guest experiences from check-in to departure, handle room assignments, upsell services, process billing, and resolve inquiries to ensure an unforgettable stay across every shift.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years as a Receptionist in 5-star luxury hotels.
• Background in Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a plus.
• Fluent Spanish with English at B2 level or higher.

Specifically, it reopened as a fully transformed 5-star destination. The resort sits on Marbella’s scenic promenade, just five minutes from Plaza de los Naranjos. Furthermore, El Fuerte Marbella features 266 luxury rooms, casual luxury design, and sweeping views. Therefore, we are seeking a guest-focused Hotel Receptionist (Recepcionista) in Marbella, Spain.

In this front-of-house role, you will manage guest experiences from check-in to departure. Specifically, you will handle room assignments, execute upselling opportunities, manage guest billing, and resolve service inquiries. By doing so, you will ensure an extraordinary stay across every shift.

Job Description: Hotel Receptionist (El Fuerte Marbella 5)*

Your Mission: Exceptional Service & Front-Desk Management

Your primary goal involves driving front-office success across our 5-star resort. To achieve this, you will deliver flawless guest registration and personal service. At the same time, you will keep front-desk administration organized and accurate. Therefore, you will manage check-ins, process billing, execute sales techniques, and log incidents in Polaris. As a result, you will eliminate service bottlenecks and protect our resort’s reputation for luxury hospitality.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Registration & Room Assignment: Execute check-in and check-out procedures accurately. Furthermore, assign rooms based on guest preferences and hotel optimization standards.
• Guest Care & Conflict Resolution: Address guest requests, resolve complaints proactively, and log incidents in Polaris to maintain top satisfaction scores.
• Sales & Concierge Assistance: Engage actively in upselling, cross-selling, and ancillary sales. In addition, provide guests with local recommendations, tour information, and transport options.
• Financial & Cashier Management: Handle daily cashier balancing, currency exchange, room charge postings, daily revenue settlement, and parking kiosk reconciliation.
• Communication & Platform Management: Manage pre-stay guest requests from e-mail and OTAs (Booking, Expedia). Moreover, handle incoming phone calls, wake-up calls, and off-hour reservation inquiries.
• Auditing & Departmental Coverage: Cover Night Auditor duties during rest days. Consequently, you will ensure smooth front-desk operations across all shifts.

Who You Are: The Luxury Front-Office Professional

• Proven Foundations: You bring at least 3 years of experience as a Receptionist inside 5-star luxury hotels. Ideally, you gained this background in properties affiliated with Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
• Educational Background: You hold a Vocational Degree (Grado Medio/Superior) in Accommodation Management or a University Degree in Tourism.
• The Linguist: You display B2-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Knowledge of additional international languages is considered a valuable asset.
• Technical Proficiency: You feel comfortable working with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Key Competencies: You demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication, detail orientation, problem-solving skills, and a polished hospitality mindset.
