Lear Corporation’s administrative office in Valls, Spain, is seeking a Homologation Engineer to join a global team responsible for the technical development of awarded programs and RFQ preparation for major OEMs in automotive components.

The role reports to the Global Homologation Manager and involves collaboration with engineering and non-engineering teams across product development, purchasing, and manufacturing. Occasional travel to other Lear centers may be required.

Formación

Fluent in English and able to work with international teams.
Experience in regulatory Bluetooth/WiFi certification is a plus.
Strong project management and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
Testing and lab hands-on skills are a plus.
Programming experience in Python and CANoe or similar tools.

Responsabilidades

To support certification time and cost estimation during OEM's RFI/RFQ phase.
To support the RFQs toward the relevant certification partners.
To propagate the certification related design requirements to system engineering early in design.
To coordinate the test campaign preparation and execution.
To monitor certification standards and scenarios evolution.
To manage certification projects with awarded partners.
To manage certifications maintenance along the product lifecycle.
