Fuse Energy is hiring an HV Technician to support utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and critical infrastructure across Spain. You will work hands-on with high voltage equipment from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety and compliance with approved designs.

The role requires proven HV experience in power or renewables, with ability to travel to projects and adapt to site conditions. Fluent Spanish is required, English a plus, and competitive salary plus private health

Formación

• Proven experience as an HV Technician within power, utilities, renewables, or critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with HV equipment: substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Practical experience with testing, commissioning, and energisation of electrical infrastructure.
• Fluent Spanish required; English language skills are a plus.

We're hiring an HV Technician to support utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and critical infrastructure (including data centre power) projects across Spain, from installation through commissioning and handover. You'll work hands-on with high voltage equipment on site, supporting testing, energisation, and troubleshooting, while ensuring works comply with approved designs and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HV Technician within power, utilities, renewables, or critical infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with HV equipment: substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
• Practical experience with testing, commissioning, and energisation of electrical infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Spanish grid standards and requirements (REE, distribuidoras) is a plus
• Strong understanding of electrical safety frameworks and site safety practices
• Relevant HV authorisations/qualifications (or ability to obtain them)
• Fluent Spanish required; English language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Spain
