The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Head of Lending Technology & Applications Division to lead the technology capabilities that support lending operations across the Bank. Based at our Luxembourg headquarters, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, shape the technology roadmap, ensure secure, resilient platforms, and drive modernisation and value creation for the Bank and its communities.

This is a senior leadership role requiring deep domain experience and excellent English; French

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 10 years leading delivery and operations of critical application portfolios.
• Experience leading multiple technology teams in international environments.
• Strong knowledge of Java/JavaScript, Microsoft technologies and Power Platform.
• Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of French would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the technology strategy for lending and own the application roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership across bespoke Java/JavaScript apps, Microsoft tech and cloud services.
• Lead transformation, modernisation and sustainable evolution of the lending application landscape.
• Lead and develop the Division’s management team across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure secure, resilient operation of lending applications and manage production issues.
• Govern vendors and manage the division’s budget and portfolio.
