Head of Iberia and South America, Managing Director of TESY Iberia S.L.U.

1. Responsibilities :

  • Act as both Head of Iberia and South America, leading the team and the business in the region, and Managing Director of TESY Iberia S.L.U., legally representing the company in line with its statutes and TESY’s operating procedures and guidelines;
  • Lead research and analysis of the markets for electric water heaters, heat pump water heaters, indirectly heated water tanks, and electric heating appliances in the region;
  • Develop business strategies and plans aligned with the corporate strategy, focusing on expanding the distribution network and increasing TESY brand recognition in Spain and Portugal;
  • Propose and implement commercial policies and approaches suitable for the respective distribution channels;
  • Develop marketing strategies and annual marketing plans for the region;
  • Manage TESY Iberia’s annual budget and oversee the implementation of business strategies to meet sales and profitability targets;
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, Head of Supply Chain, and Head of After-sales Service to execute marketing plans and support operational needs;
  • Manage customer acquisition, sales, and service operations, leading the sales team and local marketing, customer service, pre-sales, and after-sales professionals;
  • Maintain updated sales forecasts and pipelines using company systems;
  • Generate ideas for product portfolio development based on market opportunities and company policies;
  • Handle office management, payroll, and administrative tasks as instructed by corporate management;
  • Manage external service providers such as accountants, legal advisors, marketing agencies, etc.;
  • Represent TESY Iberia S.L.U. legally before authorities, financial institutions, and stakeholders;
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports as per corporate templates.

2. Reporting :

  • Report to the Senior Sales Director as Head of Iberia and South America;
  • Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer as Managing Director of TESY Iberia S.L.U.

Requirements :

  • University degree in economics, business administration, technical sciences, or related fields;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least five in a managerial role;
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in professional equipment, heating, air conditioning, renewable energy systems, domestic appliances, or installation products;
  • Experience in project business and international environments is advantageous;
  • Native Spanish and fluent English language skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP or other ERP/CRM systems is a plus;
  • Interpersonal skills include strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, result orientation, analytical skills, organizational skills, and excellent communication;
  • Outgoing, open, and honest personality;
  • Willingness for regular travel to Bulgaria and regional markets.
