Job summary

GMV Spain in Madrid is seeking a Hardware FPGA Engineer to join the Defence team within the aerospace sector, focusing on onboard navigation systems.

You'll contribute across the full FPGA development lifecycle, from requirements through verification, working with digital architectures, VHDL, and GNSS-related algorithms in a regulated environment. Hybrid model and relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in FPGA development, including digital architecture design, functional simulation, and hardware verification in a laboratory environment.
• Experience implementing signal processing algorithms (FFT, filters, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in the VHDL hardware description language.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, including design documentation, test documentation, and related deliverables.

Responsibilities

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

This role involves active participation throughout the entire system development lifecycle, from requirements definition through implementation and validation.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are seeking a professional with at least 2 years of experience in FPGA hardware development within complex and regulated technical environments. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding electronic and computing architectures and working with structured systems engineering methodologies.

Mandatory Requirements:
