GMV is expanding its hardware engineering team in Madrid. The role focuses on supporting PCB prototypes, assembling electronic and mechanical components, and producing cables for prototypes and testing.

You will work on both traditional and SMD processes, ensuring quality and reliability in space-sector equipment. We seek technicians skilled in TH/SMD soldering, cable manufacturing, assembly, and hardware testing.

Formación

• Technicians with knowledge of TH and SMD electronic component soldering.
• Cable manufacturing.
• Assembly and wiring of electronic equipment.
• Assembly of mechanical parts.
• Use of tools for small machining operations.
• HW testing and repairs.
• Basic electrical and equipment installations.
• Rack and subrack assembly, copper and fiber cabling, and packaging management for shipments will be valued.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and wire electronic equipment.
• Manufacture and assemble PCBs using TH/SMD.
• Assemble mechanical components.
• Fabricate and test cables (coaxial, data, power, fiber).
• Perform HW testing and repairs.
• Oversee basic electrical installations.
• Pack and ship materials with proper cabling.
• Manage purchasing and materials safeguarding.

What challenge will you be taking on?

• Supporting printed circuit board prototypes for equipment under development and for testing.
• Enclosure prototypes for equipment under development.
• Making cables for prototypes and testing.
• Manufacturing and assembling printed circuit boards, using both traditional and SMD components.
• Assembling cables (coaxial, data, power, fiber optic) for any GMV unit project.
• Manufacturing and assembling mechanical components for equipment.
• Purchasing management.
• Safekeeping of project materials.
• Updating and improving our work environments, striving to keep up to date with market techniques.
